Pittsburgh is where SSM Industries, Inc. originated and is presently our corporate home office. Originating in 1961, SSM Industries, Inc. quickly ascended as a prominent player locally. Throughout the 1970’s, our expertise offered opportunities into the nuclear power plant arena both locally and statewide. Along with the nuclear work, we expanded our customer base in industrial, institutional and commercial work throughout other states. In the 1980’s we maintained and grew our expertise and reputation of providing large projects with critical schedule requirements for clients such as Caterpillar, R.J. Reynolds, Ford, IBM and others, extending our base of operations throughout Indiana, Ohio, North Carolina, New York, Kentucky, Michigan, West Virginia and more. Since then we have continued offering our services throughout the country, extending as far as Florida and Alaska.
